Lampward Alpha 0.31

THIS IS A MOON LOGIC ADVENTURE GAME.

This early Alpha has been made using only the generic RPGMaker assets. In this early edition, you will enjoy a discretionary peek into the world that the Lampward Enclave has left behind. A man, whose memories are uncertain, finds himself in those lands of misty swamps and oppressive moors which folk say the Lampward once protected and illuminated. 

A NOTE ON MOON LOGIC: Old fashioned adventure games often had bizarre puzzles with solutions that could not be easily ascertained; instead, through trial and error, and a sense of discovery, players would eventually figure out how these strange worlds were connected to understand them. This is currently a game with small stages, and if you know RPGM you understand how simple the variables involved are: you can move, you can interact, and you have an inventory. This is not a game to test your wits but a place to dwell in, a world to ruminate over. Some things are best considered rather than acted upon.

The ARROW KEYS will move you.

The ENTER key is your interact button.

By pressing ESC, you will enter the Menu: this is an RPGMaker game which comes with a preset Menu. You need only concern yourself, for now, with the INVENTORY.

0.31 SAME DAY PATCH UPDATE

Fixed some bugs/errors. There seems to be some music coming from somewhere in that village, too.

AUGUST 2023 0.3: The journey continues! With a little determination, once-discouraging paths seem much less daunting. The game world has been roughly doubled in size and with new puzzles, frustrations, and curiosities to contend with. Or perhaps, to not contend with. Sometimes the peaceful sound of the woods is all one really needs.

New interactions await in existing areas too! If you find yourself in a deep, dark pit, there may be a way out after all... Either way, it's not a bad idea to save often, unless you are especially fond of beginning things again and again.

0.2: Fishing is now available! If you find your way to that desolate, open field, you may also find a path that leads to a charming fishing hole. 

The cellar of the groundskeeper's house can now be explored. Mind the drop...

Your "party" of non-entity "Vagabonds" has been removed; it's just the Wayfarer out there!

Fixed some continuity issues with the strange hermit, and have touched up details and interactions here and there.
